Pinewood Structures were selected to supply the timber frame structures to a large housing development north of Peterborough City Centre for a major blue-chip housebuilder.
Roman Fields is a development of 457 homes, work commenced in 2017 and is continued into 2020. The site is a mix of 2/3 and 4 bedrooms terraced, semi and detached homes.
Pinewood delivered around 2 units per week for a sustained period, with the frames being complete within around a week per block. The units were completed from slab to finished in around 15 weeks, offering quick turn around times.
Pinewood Structures’ total package included the open panel timber frame supply and erect, as well as extra items such as fascia and soffits. This has allowed the housebuilder to accelerate the build and get the plots weathertight in as little as two weeks.
