//Timber Frame Construction

The housing sector, alongside other sectors, is increasingly choosing timber frame construction from trusted companies such as Pinewood Structures for their projects.

We are able to offer many solutions that are both flexible and cost-effective to meet your specific project needs. From timber frame roofs and our unique One-Roof™ technology to open and closed panel timber frame walls and joists, we deliver a range of approved solutions you can trust.

Using our timber frame construction service significantly reduces the duration of a build. On average, a timber frame building can be built 8 weeks faster when compared to masonry construction methods. Timber frame structures also bring down overall build costs by approximately 2.8%, with programme savings of up to 19.5%. Additionally, timber as a construction material acts as a carbon sink, trapping carbon when it is harvested which makes it one of the most sustainable materials that can be used for construction.

//On-Site Project Management

Our full service timber frame construction includes dedicated, directly employed project management support to monitor and deliver with first in class Quality Assurance procedures and Health and Safety inspections.

At Pinewood Structures, we understand the importance of comprehensive project management, to support the process from initial timber frame design through to supply and installation. Our offsite manufactured MMC solutions and processes enable us to ensure your project is on track, with regular site meetings to make sure your build programme is our priority.  We will provide design programmes, project specific build programmes, RAMS and a comprehensive photographic QA process to ensure that we deliver on time and in full to your programme.

Our directly employed project managers support our aim to deliver industry-leading service levels. We also take great pride in our strong, longstanding relationships with our trusted supply chain and subcontract erectors. This consistency gives us and our clients the confidence to come back to us time and again, safe in the knowledge that their timber frame construction is in safe hands.

I’ve been working with Pinewood for a number of years and their engagement and assistance throughout the design and construction process has been invaluable. I look forward to continuing our work together.
