Company update 17th June 2020

“Following our last update of just over two weeks ago, we are pleased to say that our factory is now fully operational. All factory personnel are working from our production facility , with sales, estimating, commercial, construction and finance home office based. Given the size of our facility and the size of our products, it has been a relatively simple to accommodate social distancing measures throughout. One way systems are in place with 2m distance markers in place at potential bottle necks. Sanitiser stations are  located throughout the facility and all employees have signed up to our Code of Conduct.

Our phone system is fully operational and networked to home offices together with all office based personnel ‘Team’ and ‘Zoom’ enabled. Today we took the first step in the installation of our dedicated high speed broadband line as a commitment to long term remote working. Demand wise we are running around 80% of peak capacity and expect this level to continue for the foreseeable future. All our supply chain are fully operational too with both material and installation teams available.

Whilst it has been a challenging two months, we can see our way to achieving a level of stability on which we can plan our business. We very much appreciate the government help from the furlough scheme and would encourage them to consider the housing market as a top priority as they start the unenviable task of figuring out how to get us through the economic challenges that Covid-19 has presented us with.”
