The £1.44m project included five blocks of apartments totaling 144 homes. The homes benefit from excellent communication links with Cambridge Train Station only a short walk away. Pinewood Structures was asked by developer Hollybrook to supply and construct the timber frame on this prestigious residential and retail development in just 16 weeks. The scheme, in the heart of Southend-on-Sea, consists of 92 one and two-bedroom apartments, penthouses & galleried apartments ranging in size from 45 to 83sq m constructed above a mixed-use ground floor development. The £8 million project is architecturally demanding and access to the site is challenging due to its built-up location. Measures to limit the impact of construction on the neighbouring businesses and homes are constantly employed.
