Thakeham Homes, a leader in Net Zero housing and placemaking, has partnered with Pinewood since 2021 to deliver timber frame houses and apartments for the Woodgate development, a landmark project with over 600 homes including community amenities.
Pinewood met the project’s demanding requirements by supplying and fitting pre-insulated timber frames, floor cassettes, and roofs, achieving high standards and fast build rates. The collaboration has resulted in an award-winning development exemplifying quality and innovation, fostering a strong ongoing partnership between the two companies.
//Woodgate Development Project Details
Woodgate is a landmark 600+ home development, including a village green and school. Pinewood partnered with Thakeham to deliver all of the timber frame houses and apartments on the project.
Supplying and fitting a pre-insulated timber frame, with floor cassettes and roofs, Pinewood delivered to exacting standards and aggressive build programmes – up to 8 units a week for sustained periods of time. Working with Thakeham to provide innovation including lifting fully battened roofs and decked bay roofs.
