135 Carbon Neutral Homes
125 Affordable Homes
//Keepmoat Homes & Pinewood Structures Partnership
Keepmoat Homes, a prominent housebuilder focused on brownfield site regeneration and community partnerships, has collaborated with Pinewood since 2016, including on the Parklands Village scheme in Locking near Weston-super-Mare.
This project involves delivering 425 homes (a micture of houses and apartments) over five years in partnership with Homes England, featuring Pinewood’s NHBC Accepts approved closed panels that support sustainability goals by providing highly insulated, low embodied carbon construction. To date, 135 carbon neutral homes and 125 affordable homes have been delivered.

//Parklands Village Regeneration Scheme
Parklands is part of the larger Parklands Village regeneration scheme on a former RAF base in Locking near Weston-super-Mare. With 425 houses and apartments due to be delivered over 5 years, it is a substantial scheme delivered in partnership with Homes England.
As part of the Homes England requirements, we supplied our NHBC Accepts approved closed panels to both the houses and apartments. With sustainability being a key feature of the development, our highly insulated, low embodied carbon panels helped Keepmoat deliver carbon neutral homes, designed to meet the anticipated Future Homes Standard.

//The Future
With work ongoing, we are delighted with the simplicity and speed that our NHBC Accepts closed panels provide.
This project has seen us help to deliver 135 carbon neutral homes and 125 affordable homes to Keepmoat, as part of a partnership with Homes England and North Somerset Council.
