Trainee Project Manager

If you would like to join one of the market leader's in offsite timber frame construction as part of our Construction Team, we have the opportunity for you.  We are looking for the right person to train to become one of our Project Managers - a crucial role in the successful operation of our business.

Information on the position:

From a construction related background, with ideally carpentry experience, the successful candidate will be trained by the company to project manage the timber frame sub-contract works on 4-5 construction sites at any one time. The role encompasses managing build programs and visiting sites on a regular basis to carry out Quality Control Build Checks, assist with any problem solving, managing Health & Safety and providing the link between site and our factory.
 
The candidate will be offered a full training program which will be a combination of classroom sessions to address any skills gaps and ‘buddying up’ with an experienced project manager for a length of time as required to bring the candidate to the level of project manager.

The position attracts a competitive starting salary of between £37,000-40,000 (subject to experience) plus a hybrid company car, or car allowance.
