At Pinewood Structures, the protection of our workforce is at the forefront of our thinking. All management meetings begin with a health and safety review and we track our statistics on a monthly basis, pareto root causes and instigate corrective action procedures.

Our statement of general policy is:

• To provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our timber frame work activities;
• To consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;
• To provide and maintain safe plant and equipment;
• To ensure safe handling and use of substances;
• To provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;
• The Directors of Pinewood Structures Limited understand their responsibilities and duties under the HSW74, and will ensure that all employees, contractors and sub-contractors conform to the procedures and guidance laid out In HSW74.
• To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;
• To prevent accidents and cases of work–related ill health;
• To maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and
• To review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

Pinewood Structures’ outstanding quality assurance is backed by ISO 9001 2015 Certification and conformity with the Structural Timber Association’s Quality Standards.

Our highly skilled design team are able to create bespoke timber frames to satisfy whatever needs you have for your project. Our well-practiced plant team will expertly manufacture your timber frame where it will then be delivered to site ready for erection.

All of our manufactured timber frames are eligible for cover from major insurers such as NHBC and LABC. All of our timber frame solutions have a guaranteed lifespan of a minimum of 60 years in line with the demands from Building Societies and Finance Houses for lending purposes.
