Pinewood was asked by Fitzpatrick to produce the timber frame for this design and build hospital project in Weybridge, Surrey. Timber frame construction was chosen as the preferred method for this project allowing accurate off-site manufacturing and offering fast and flexible construction. Pinewood designed, manufactured and erected the complete timber frame working structure with all external walls, internal partitions, floors and the roof structure.

Pinewood Structures were selected to supply their exciting new product Quantum-C to a new Tesco superstore in Armesbury , Wiltshire

Quantum C TM is a continuous walling panel system finished in Tesco’s signature cladding of moulded Siberian larch & blue trims, and included Trespa high pressure laminate(HPL) to the lower portion of the panels.

Pinewood supplied the timber frame system for a £1.5m Sue Start Children's centre along with a new Police base for officers from Hertfordfordshire. The new single-storey building compromises polished blockwork and natrual ventilation. The key challenge for the timber frame was how to create staggers in the building design whilst keeping the centre line of the roof along with teh large spans required.

Barking Riverside

This prestiogous scheme, which forms an important part of the Barking Riverside regeneration site, uses a Fabric First approach as favoured by the Zero Carbon Hub to achieve high levels of energy performance to Code 4 whilst virtually eliminating the need for eco-bling such as air sourced heat pumps and other bolt ons. The Fabric led approach essentially deals with the future proofing of the building. Even in 50 years time the building fabric will still be delivering an energy efficient shell. Can the same be said for eco-bling bolt ons??
