Pinewood Structures was asked by developer Hollybrook to supply and construct the timber frame on this prestigious residential and retail development in just 16 weeks. The scheme, in the heart of Southend-on-Sea, consists of 92 one and two-bedroom apartments, penthouses & galleried apartments ranging in size from 45 to 83sq m constructed above a mixed-use ground floor development. The £8 million project is architecturally demanding and access to the site is challenging due to its built-up location. Measures to limit the impact of construction on the neighbouring businesses and homes are constantly employed. Finished to a very high specification the year-long project is scheduled for completion in February 2005. Architect for the project is ATP Group and the engineer is VKHP/ Douglas Rose.
